THAI-FLEMISH ASSOCIATION
The association was founded in 1987 so as to promote good relations between Flanders and Thailand, i. a. through cultural exchange,
socio-cultural activities and contacts. The association offers relief for Thai people and gives them personal assistance. It also supports
development projects in Thailand and supplies
information on procedures, business, language, culture, travel, etc.

Thai measures
The association has a centre in Clevenstraat 2, 8680 Koekelare (Belgium) (see map), including:
- Multi-purpose meeting room and small bar.
- 3 Guest rooms + 1 bathroom.
Our centre is situated at the Lange Max site in a tranquil, rural setting.
The use of and the access to our centre are strictly reserved for members and visitors (on demand).
Members enjoy the following facilities:
- Free access to the centre during opening hours - Friday and Saturday (from 7 pm
onwards) and Sunday (from 4 pm onwards)] for a drink or a Thai snack in the bar, asking for information or simply a nice chat.
In July and August also open on Wednesday (from 4 pm onwards) and on Sunday
(from 10 am onwards).
- Participating in
socio-cultural activities, including the traditional Thai festivals
LOY KRATHONG and
SONGKRAN.
Information free of charge, services at cost price.
Use of facilities, meeting room with appurtenances by
appointment and at particularly inexpensive rates.
Guest rooms.
Accomodation in case of emergency situations: free of charge.
Our centre offers you the possibility to taste Thai atmosphere in our country and get in touch with Thai people and devotees of Thailand in our country and neighbouring countries.

All board members dedicate themselves voluntarily and on an honorary basis for the association.
The necessary financial means, i.a. for utilities and the accomodation and support of Thai visitors, are gathered through the membership fees and the bar.
Our association currently has more than 200 members.

32 Euro by deposit or transfer on bank account nr. 473-1041191-51, mentioning: membership fee.
